New eight week class begins March 12, 2012
- Class orientation date: March 7, 2012 * 1:00p.m. - 2:30p.m.
- Day class from 9am to 2pm Monday - Thursday
- Daytime clinical will be from 7:45am - 1pm weeks 6 & 7- Clinical sites & dates are always subject to change
- Class graduation evening of May 3, 2012
- Night class from 4pm to 9pm Monday - Thursday (not available this session)
- There may be occasional make-up days on Fridays for classroom &/or clinical hours
- Classes are 160 hours for 8 weeks & includes Heartsaver CPR & AED
Enrollment Requirements:
- Non-refundable tuition payment of $280 is due at enrollment to cover drug screen and background check
- Must be 18 years of age or older (valid state issued photo ID required)
- High School diploma or GED (must provide copy at enrollment)
- Completion of two PPD's (TB test) before orientation date (provide paperwork with dates)
- South Central AHEC no longer accepts personal checks as payment effective October 31, 2011. Money Order, Cashier's Check, Certified Check or Cash only
Cancellation Policy:
• If student cancels class enrollment four (4) weeks prior to class start date, any payment received is non-refundable
Disclaimer: South Central AHEC reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment and will make every attempt to notify accepted students of this cancellation as soon as possible.
Tuition Cost:
• $950.00 - Includes class tuition, books, drug screen, background check and state competency exam fee
Tuition does not cover class supplies or PPD's (TB tests)

Shoes must be enclosed toe and heel
- Notepad (small enough to fit in your pocket)
- Waterproof watch with second hand for classroom & clinical
- Pencils and pens & a black sharpie
