The South Central School of Practical Nursing is now accepting applications for the Fall 2012 term.
South Central School of Practical Nursing is a 15 month diploma program that includes all prerequisites. Transcripts are required; high school or college transcripts with a minimum 2.5 GPA or GED with score of 45 or above. Immunization records are also required with the application packet. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Classes are generally 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday - Friday (hours & days will vary by semester). Clinical sites are subject to change due to availability and will include evening hours.
2012 Term Scheduled to begin September 4, 2012
Program Application Fee: $40.00 (non-refundable) Application Process Opens February 10, 2012 @ 9:00 a.m. for the September 2012-13 session. Deadline for return/postmark is no later than March 30, 2012 @ 3:00 p.m. at our office for consideration.
One-Time Registration Fee: $350.00 (non-refundable) to cover cost associated with conducting background check and drug screen upon acceptance into the program and is in addition to the 1st semester tuition cost. Drug screen results and Background check results from other facilities/employers are not acceptable.
Estimated Tuition Cost Per Semester: (includes textbooks)
1st Term $3150.00* (due no later than August 3, 2012 by 3:00 p.m.)
2nd Term $2500.00* (due no later than 1 week prior to semester start)
3rd Term $2500.00* (due no later than 1 week prior to semester start)
4th Term $2500.00* (due no later than 1 week prior to semester start)
All books are purchased by the South Central School of Practical Nursing and are included in each semester tuition cost.
Additional Costs: Student uniforms must be purchased from company designated by school. Uniforms are scheduled to be fitted and ordered by the end of the 1st semester, payment due at time of ordering.

All accounts for the 1st semester must be paid in full by August 3, 2012
All students will be required to have a physical examination, a vision exam and complete a two-step TB test at the student's expense upon acceptance into the program.
