Medication Aide

We are currently offering medication aide classes during the day.

The next medication aide class begins on September 22, 2008

General Information

 

• Day class from 9am to 2pm Monday and Friday.
• Daytime clinical will be from 6:45am to 12pm Monday and Friday.
• Total class time is 7.5 weeks for 75 hours.
• Attendance is Mandatory; there will be no make-up days scheduled.

Enrollment Requirements:

• Must complete an application
• At the time of application $200 of tuition is required in order to hold your seat. This fee includes book fees.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Enroll early (ten students accepted per class)
• High School diploma or GED
• Must be a certified nursing aide (CNA).  Please bring card.
• Upon completion of this class you will receive a certificate as a Medication Aide and you are eligible to take the state exam for certification.

Cost:

• $390 this includes books, tuition, and PPD.
• Virginia State Board Exam Fee is not included in tuition

·         2 white uniforms (needed by fourth week of class)

·         White shoes and socks (needed by fourth week of class)

·         Notepad (small enough to fit in your pocket)

·         Watch with a second hand for classroom & clinicals
